I have a confession.
When I was weighing which publishing deal to take, one of the things that really tipped the scales for me was The Parliament House’s uncanny talent for branding, optics, and aesthetic. Where the publishing industry is concerned, the old adage, “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” simply doesn’t apply. By all means, judge a book by its cover, because great covers sell really damn well. And my publisher knows covers.
One of the most exciting milestones in the publishing process is getting your cover art. It’s been such a privilege to work with a house that really does its best to represent your book’s themes, tone, style, and aesthetic. Not only that, they take author feedback very seriously, and it is with that in mind that I am so privileged to present the cover art for THE HOLLOW GODS, which one dear friend described as, “…the most on-brand thing I’ve ever seen.”
This is my first book baby; this story has meant the world to me and has helped heal me through some very difficult times. I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have the opportunity to be a part of the publishing process and to have been gifted such a gorgeous cover.
Without further ado, feast your eyes on the most glorious cover I *ever* could have asked for:

About The Novel
Black Hollow is a town with a dark secret.
For centuries, residents have foretold the return of the Dreamwalker—an ominous figure from local folklore said to lure young women into the woods and possess them. Yet the boundary between fact and fable is blurred by a troubling statistic: occasionally, women do go missing. And after they return, they almost always end up dead.
When Kai wakes up next to the lifeless body of a recently missing girl, his memory blank, he struggles to clear his already threadbare conscience.
Miya, a floundering university student, experiences signs that she may be the Dreamwalker’s next victim. Can she trust Kai as their paths collide, or does he herald her demise?
And after losing a young patient, crestfallen oncologist, Mason, embarks on a quest to debunk the town’s superstitions, only to find his sanity tested.
A maelstrom of ancient grudges, forgotten traumas, and deadly secrets loom in the foggy forests of Black Hollow. Can three unlikely heroes put aside their fears and unite to confront a centuries-old evil? Will they uncover the truth behind the fable, or will the cycle repeat?
The Hollow Gods releases on July 28, 2020. Please add the novel to goodreads or sign up for my newsletter on the right side of this page to stay updated!
