Happy February, book nerds!
There’s a new SFF and speculative fiction festival on the block, and it’s none other than the incredible Imaginarium Book Festival. Founded by Diantha Jones and NadΓ¨ge Richards, Imaginarium showcases books and writers in the fantasy, science fiction, and paranormal genres.
So, you can imagine my giddiness when I was invited to participate in the festival! There are some SERIOUSLY big names this year, including Rebecca Roanhorse (Black Sun; Trail of Lightning), Emily Duncan (Wicked Saints; Ruthless Gods; Blessed Monsters), Shelby Mahurin (Serpent & Dove; Blood and Honey), Roseanne Brown (A Song of Wraiths and Ruin), and Shayne Leighton (Of Light and Darkness; Of Blood and Magic).
It was supposed to take place in Washington, DC, but unfortunately, due to the pandemic raging on, the festival has transitioned online. It will be held virtually on May 8, 2021, and tickets can be purchased from their website, here:
