Sadly, I don’t think much will be changing just because 2020 is over, but nonetheless, I hope this new year brings you all a much needed respite and sorely needed joy!

Unfortunately, I do have some disappointing news regarding the release date of The Echoed Realm, the sequel to The Hollow Gods. There is a slight delay in the anticipated production time for The Echoed Realm. Due to pretty much all the circumstances that come with being a hair’s breadth away from the apocalypse, things have been moving along slower than usual, and this has cut into my publisher’s time frame for taking advantage of important marketing and publicity opportunities. Unfortunately, most traditional publicity outlets have strict timelines for when books need to be submitted to them for consideration. To ensure we don’t miss out on these opportunities, my publisher and I have collectively decided to push the release date of The Echoed Realm from June 8, 2021 to August 10, 2021.

This two month extension will give the publisher the chance to pursue marketing opportunities with outlets that typically require finished books to be submitted four months prior to release. I know that for those of you who have been looking forward to the release of this book for nearly a year, this is disappointing news, BUT there is a silver lining!

Electronic advanced readers copies will still be available on the same schedule. That is to say that for everyone who is eagerly awaiting to review the book prior to release, there will be no change in how quickly you can access the eARC. Of course, those of you who have already pre-ordered the book are also welcome to eARCs! You can also keep an eye on NetGalley, where you will be able to request an eARC!

With the current timeline, I am expecting eARCs to be available some time in March! Keep your eyes peeled!
